About this role

We are seeking a Survey/Layout Technician to support construction layout for data center projects.

You will perform precise layout for foundations, structures, and MEP systems, ensuring construction proceeds according to design documents. This role requires expertise with surveying instruments and construction coordination.

Provide the precise layout that ensures accurate construction, working on projects where tolerances are critical for proper equipment installation.

Perform construction layout
Establish control points and benchmarks
Verify as-built conditions
Coordinate with construction teams
Maintain survey equipment
Document survey activities

What you'll bring

3+ years of construction surveying experience
Proficiency with total stations and GPS equipment
Ability to read construction drawings
Understanding of construction layout methods
Strong mathematical skills
Attention to detail

Preferred qualifications

Associate degree or technical certification
Experience with commercial or industrial construction
Knowledge of surveying software
Valid driver's license

Certifications typically required

OSHA 30
