About this role

We are looking for a Substation/High Voltage Design Engineer to design electrical infrastructure for data centers.

You will design substations, switchyards, and medium voltage distribution systems that deliver power from utility interconnection points to data center facilities. This role requires expertise in utility interconnection, protection systems, and high/medium voltage equipment.

Design the power infrastructure that energizes digital infrastructure, working on projects with utility services ranging from 34.5kV to 138kV and above.

What you'll bring

  • 10+ years of substation design experience
  • Experience with data center utility infrastructure
  • Expert knowledge of medium and high voltage systems
  • Experience with protection and control systems
  • Proficiency with power systems software
  • Understanding of utility interconnection agreements

Preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • PE license required
  • Experience with utility interconnection
  • Knowledge of IEEE and NESC standards

Certifications typically required
