About this role

We are looking for an MEP Design Engineer specializing in plumbing and process systems for data center facilities.

You will design plumbing systems including domestic water, sanitary, storm drainage, and specialized process systems such as fuel oil, glycol, and chilled water distribution. This role requires expertise in industrial plumbing design and mission-critical infrastructure.

Contribute to complex data center projects where plumbing systems must support critical cooling infrastructure and meet stringent reliability requirements.

What you'll do

  • Design plumbing and process piping systems
  • Perform hydraulic calculations and sizing
  • Develop construction documents and specifications
  • Coordinate with mechanical and civil teams
  • Review shop drawings and submittals
  • Support construction administration

What you'll bring

  • 8+ years of plumbing engineering experience
  • Experience with industrial or data center plumbing
  • Knowledge of process piping and fuel systems
  • Understanding of chilled water distribution
  • Proficiency with design software and hydraulic calculations
  • Familiarity with ASME B31.3 and IPC codes

Preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Plumbing Engineering
  • PE license preferred
  • Experience with mission-critical facilities
  • Knowledge of codes and standards

Certifications typically required

PE LicenseOSHA 30
