About this role

Join our team as a Senior MEP Design Engineer specializing in electrical systems for data centers.

You will design power distribution systems, UPS infrastructure, and critical electrical systems supporting multi-megawatt IT loads. This role requires expertise in data center power architectures, including 2N, N+1, and distributed redundancy configurations.

Power the infrastructure that runs the digital world, designing electrical systems that deliver 99.99%+ uptime for mission-critical operations.

What you'll do

  • Design electrical power distribution systems
  • Size generators, UPS, and switchgear
  • Develop single-line diagrams and schematics
  • Perform arc flash and coordination studies
  • Coordinate with mechanical and controls teams
  • Support commissioning and testing

What you'll bring

  • 10+ years of electrical engineering experience
  • Minimum 5 years focused on data center power
  • Expert knowledge of power distribution and UPS systems
  • Experience with short circuit and coordination studies
  • Proficiency with electrical design software
  • Understanding of medium voltage distribution

Preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • PE license required
  • Experience with medium voltage systems
  • Knowledge of NEC, IEEE, and Uptime Institute standards

Certifications typically required

PE LicenseOSHA 30
