About this role

We are seeking an MEP Concept Engineer to develop innovative mechanical, electrical, and plumbing concepts for data center projects.

In this role, you will create early-stage designs and feasibility studies that set the foundation for detailed engineering. You will work closely with business development and design teams to develop winning technical solutions that balance performance, efficiency, and cost.

Contribute to projects that define the next generation of data center infrastructure, utilizing cutting-edge cooling technologies and power distribution strategies.

What you'll do

  • Develop MEP concept designs for proposals
  • Create system one-line diagrams and equipment layouts
  • Perform feasibility and capacity analyses
  • Support cost estimating with technical input
  • Collaborate with design and business development teams
  • Research new technologies and best practices

What you'll bring

  • 7+ years of MEP engineering experience
  • Minimum 3 years focused on data centers
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
  • Experience with concept development and feasibility studies
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and engineering software
  • Understanding of data center efficiency metrics

Preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • PE license preferred
  • Knowledge of ASHRAE, NFPA, and IEEE standards
  • Experience with energy modeling

Certifications typically required

PE LicenseOSHA 30
