About this role

Join our team as a Mechanical Designer/HVAC Specialist Engineer supporting data center MEP installation.

You will design and coordinate mechanical systems installation, including chilled water systems, air handlers, and cooling distribution. This role requires expertise in data center cooling technologies and construction coordination.

Design and coordinate the installation of cooling systems that maintain optimal conditions for mission-critical IT equipment.

What you'll do

  • Design mechanical installation details
  • Coordinate HVAC systems installation
  • Provide construction engineering support
  • Review shop drawings and submittals
  • Resolve field coordination issues
  • Support system startup and testing

What you'll bring

  • 7+ years of mechanical design or HVAC engineering experience
  • Experience with data center cooling systems
  • Proficiency with Revit MEP or AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of chilled water and DX systems
  • Understanding of construction coordination
  • Strong problem-solving skills

Preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • PE or EIT certification preferred
  • Experience with mission-critical facilities
  • Knowledge of ASHRAE standards

Certifications typically required

OSHA 30EPA 608
