About this role

Join our team as a Fire Protection Engineer designing life safety systems for data centers.

You will design fire suppression, detection, and alarm systems for mission-critical facilities. This role requires expertise in clean agent systems, pre-action sprinklers, and VESDA detection technologies that protect both people and critical equipment.

Protect critical infrastructure with innovative fire protection solutions, designing systems that meet stringent insurance and client requirements while maintaining operational uptime.

What you'll do

  • Design fire suppression and detection systems
  • Perform hydraulic calculations
  • Develop fire protection specifications
  • Coordinate with architects and MEP teams
  • Review shop drawings and submittals
  • Support commissioning and testing

What you'll bring

  • 7+ years of fire protection engineering experience
  • Experience with data center fire protection
  • Knowledge of clean agent and pre-action systems
  • Expertise in NFPA codes and standards
  • Proficiency with hydraulic calculations
  • Understanding of VESDA and aspirating detection

Preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering
  • PE license required
  • NICET certifications preferred
  • Experience with FM-200/Novec systems
