About this role

Join our team as a Commissioning Engineer specializing in mission-critical facilities.

You will plan and execute commissioning activities for data center MEP systems, ensuring they meet performance requirements and are ready for operational use. This role is critical for delivering reliable infrastructure that meets stringent uptime requirements.

Validate the systems that power mission-critical operations, conducting comprehensive functional testing of power, cooling, and control systems.

What you'll do

  • Develop commissioning plans and procedures
  • Execute functional performance tests
  • Coordinate integrated systems testing
  • Document commissioning results
  • Support owner training
  • Manage commissioning schedules

What you'll bring

  • 8+ years of commissioning experience
  • Experience with data center commissioning
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Understanding of integrated systems testing
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Knowledge of Uptime Institute standards

Preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • CxA or BCxP certification preferred
  • Experience with Tier III/IV data centers
  • Knowledge of ASHRAE Guideline 0

Certifications typically required

CxAOSHA 30NFPA 70E
